Injective is a Proof of Stake based blockchain built on top of Cosmos SDK designed to be the first trustless and truly decentralized exchange protocol.

Staking Guide & Instructions

Stake your INJ tokens in a few clicks by following these steps:

The easiest way to stake INJ is via Keplr.

• Head over to our validator.
  
• ‍Find Matrixed.Link in the Injective validator set and click the “details” button.
  
• Click “Delegate Now”. Enter the amount you want to delegate.
• Remember to keep some INJ available to pay for transaction fees.
  
• Click “delegate” and then click “approve” to approve the transaction.

Useful info about staking

• Injective's native token, INJ, is used for staking, participation in on-chain governance, various incentives, collateral backing for derivatives and exchange participation.
• It takes 21 days to unstake your INJ tokens.
• Your stake can be slashed; 5% for double signing and 0.01% for downtime
• Your potential rewards depend upon validator performance. When your validator is down, you will not be earning staking income.
• Inflation for the mainnet will be 7% of the total supply, set to decrease over time until reaching a floor of 2%.
